Minister Bolat Revives Turkey's Trade Power with TAREKS

Minister Bolat shared important information about the New TAREKS Project through his social media account. This project won the first-place award in the Public Sector Services category at the Turkey IT Awards competition organized by the Turkish Informatics Association this year.

Since 2011, the TAREKS system has been serving as a digital platform for foreign trade inspections. It has entered a significant transformation process. After the digital transformation efforts that began in 2023, the system will be completely renewed by 2025 with an artificial intelligence-based risk analysis infrastructure. This innovation aims to facilitate and secure Turkey's foreign trade operations more effectively.

Minister Bolat stated that various steps have been taken to ensure trade security and to streamline cargo inspections alongside TAREKS's digital transformation processes. He emphasized that by 2025, the system will provide services with an AI-supported structure in risk analysis. In this way, it is aimed to enhance the integrity of foreign trade and provide faster services to industry players.
