


Arçelik announced its decision to halt production activities at its refrigerator facility in the Rayong region of Thailand. This decision was made as part of the global efficiency and optimization strategy.
The company stated that production will be completely terminated by December 1, 2025, and the current capacity will be transferred to Arçelik's other facilities. Management indicated that this situation would not cause any unexpected negative impact on overall production volume and sales.
The employment contracts of 411 employees at the Rayong facility will be terminated as part of this closure decision. Arçelik announced that the total cost of severance and notice compensations to be paid to this personnel would be approximately 3 million dollars.
Arçelik stated that this step is part of the process of restructuring its operational activities worldwide and aims to enhance operational efficiency.
Arçelik's statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) is as follows:
"As a result of analyses conducted within the scope of Arçelik's global efficiency and optimization efforts; it has been decided to halt production at the refrigerator facility located in Rayong, Thailand. It is planned to shift the capacity utilizations from this facility to other companies owned by the Company."
