Turkish Statistical Institute Published August Report

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) announced the service production index data for August 2025. According to the data, service production in Turkey increased by %3.6 compared to the same month of the previous year.

Sectoral Developments

As of August, significant increases observed in the service sector are as follows:

• Transportation and storage services: %0.7 increase
• Accommodation and food services: %4.7 increase
• Information and communication services: %6.4 increase
• Real estate services: %7.2 increase
• Professional, scientific and technical services: %9 increase
• Administrative and support services: %2.8 increase

Changes Compared to Previous Months

Service production index also increased by %0.4 compared to the previous month. When looking at the details:

• Accommodation and food services: %1.7 increase
• Transportation and storage services: %0.2 increase
• Information and communication services: %3.2 decrease
• Real estate services: %0.2 decrease
• Professional, scientific and technical services: %2.4 increase
