December 8th Cryptocurrency Market Update: Bitcoin and Altcoins

As of December 8th, Bitcoin is trading at $91,115 with an increase of %1.9. Against the Turkish lira, it has reached a value of 3,882,229 TL, attracting the attention of investors.

A similar upward trend is observed in altcoins. Ethereum has risen to $3,125 with an increase of %2.6, while BNB is trading at $901 with a %0.8 increase. Ripple is at $2.07 with a %1 increase, and Dogecoin is trading at $0.1408 with a %0.4 rise. Solana has risen by %1.3, reaching $134.77, while TRON has maintained a stable position at $0.2868 with %0 change.

Within the last 24 hours, notably, Ethena (ENA) has become the best-performing altcoin, increasing by %4.5 and trading at $0.2731. On the other hand, Monero (XMR) has dropped %4.5, falling to $368.61, becoming the altcoin that lost the most value.

In the cryptocurrency market, the dollar index (DXY) is at 98.89, while Bitcoin’s market cap is around $1.81 trillion, and the total cryptocurrency market value is approximately $3.18 trillion. The total market volume in the cryptocurrency space over the last 24 hours is around $106 billion.

At the beginning of the new week, dollar/TL is trading at 42.58, and Euro/TL is at 49.67. In the last 24 hours, a total of $444 million was liquidated from the cryptocurrency market, affecting more than 129,000 investors. Of the liquidated positions, %66.47 were long positions, and the most liquidated asset was Ethereum.
