An Exciting Project is Coming for 500 New Housing Units.

The Minister of Environment and Urbanization announced that Turkey is preparing to take a significant step in the housing sector by building 500 thousand new houses as part of the century's housing project. This initiative draws attention as an important measure that enables low-income families to become homeowners.

The Housing Development Administration (TOKİ) had previously fulfilled the dreams of thousands of families with its First Home Project. Now, it has taken this process a step further by constructing 3,109 houses in Ihlamurkent Neighborhood of Eskişehir. The scope of the project is not limited to housing construction; it also includes 2 mosques, 2 schools, and 6 commercial centers, along with social facilities organized according to the needs of the community.

The Ministry stated that these constructed houses are earthquake-resistant, environmentally friendly, and suitable for horizontal architecture. These features not only provide a safe living space but also enhance the quality of life. With the new projects, approximately 12,500 people will have a new living space.

With the targeted 500 thousand houses, TOKİ will continue to play an important role in meeting Turkey's housing needs. In the ministry's statements, it was emphasized that these projects would create positive effects not only during the construction process but also in terms of the supply chain and employment. Thus, it will contribute to the economy while starting a new era in the social housing sector.
