Important Company News
- Aksa Enerji (AKSEN) signed a sales contract with its subsidiary Aksa Göynük Enerji for the local lignite coal power plant in Bolu Göynük with a purchase guarantee at a minimum price of 75 USD/MWh.
- Garanti BBVA (GARAN) reported a net profit of 30.43 billion TL in the third quarter of 2025. This shows a %38 increase compared to the same period last year.
- Kuzugrup GYO (KZGYO) decided to rent out 27 independent units in the Sea Pearl Ataköy project for 2 more years under the same terms. Additionally, 10 more independent units will be leased under the current contracts.
- Oncosem Onkolojik Sistemler (ONCSM) signed a contract worth 33.95 million TL for the "2-Year Chemotherapy Service Procurement" tender initiated by Bursa Ali Osman Sönmez Oncology Hospital.
- Turcas Holding (TRCAS) registered the establishment of a company named “Turcas International Holding A.Ş.” to invest in domestic and international projects.
- Ofis Yem (OFSYM) announced that it has participated in the capital increase of its subsidiary Eymencem Gıda, raising its capital from 18 million TL to 108 million TL.
Global Markets and Turkey's Economy
In global markets, positive developments are observed with the Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate cut. The Fed lowered the policy rate by 25 basis points to a range of %3.75-4. Additionally, US chip manufacturer Nvidia reached a market value of 5 trillion dollars, setting a new record.
In Turkey, the BIST 100 index started the day with an increase of %0.33 at 10,907.44 points. The dollar is trading at 41.94 TL, and the euro is at 48.87 TL. The price of gram gold is set at 5,349 TL.
Share Buybacks and Dividend Payments
Yesterday, AHGAZ repurchased 29,416 shares in the price range of 27.94 TL. Today, DESA will make a net dividend payment of 0.07 TL per share, while OYAKC will realize a net dividend of 0.85 TL per share.
