Important Developments in Turkey and the TRNC

Today, Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz is going to North Cyprus to hold important meetings with Tufan Erhürman, the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Yılmaz will attend Erhürman's oath-taking ceremony at the Republic Assembly and the handover ceremony to be held at the Presidential Complex, and he will be at the ceremony area at 09:30.

Economic and Financial Activities

1. Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır will participate in the "2nd Meeting of the Ministers of Industry and Science Technology Innovation of the Turkish States Organization" to be held in Baku.

2. Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı will be present at the "Kastamonu University 2025-2026 Academic Year Opening Ceremony" at 14:00 in Kastamonu.

3. Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat will attend the "Istanbul Gelişim University Academic Year Opening Ceremony" at 10:30 in Istanbul.

4. Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu will hold bilateral meetings with Pakistan's Federal Minister of Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar in Islamabad.

5. Turkey Statistical Institute will announce the second estimate of this year's plant production and the statistics on brain drain in higher education for the year 2024 in Ankara. This announcement will be made at 10:00.
