Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz announced that the support provided to Turkey's agricultural sector has increased and a total of 888 billion lira has been allocated in the 2026 budget. It was stated that this budget was created to support agricultural production and enhance the sustainability of the sector.

Considering that the agricultural support amount was determined to be 135 billion lira in 2025, the increase of these supports to 888 billion lira in 2026, with a rate of 24.44%, is evaluated as an important development.
Cevdet Yılmaz emphasized the contribution of developments in the agricultural sector to the Turkish economy by stating, "We continue our balanced growth strategy focused on investment, employment, production, and exports."
