Positive news has started to emerge from diplomatic delegations gathered in Florida regarding the end of the ongoing war in Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed through a social media message that the negotiation process has gained momentum and that discussions with the United States (US) have been productive.
Zelensky emphasized that his team in Florida has been working intensively with US officials, stating, "The process is progressing quite rapidly. Involving European representatives in the discussions is a critical phase for us."
The Ukrainian leader mentioned that after his contacts in the US, he met with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Store and noted that comprehensive consultations with European partners would be the next step.
This optimistic statement from the Ukrainian front was met with a response from the Russian side. Kremlin envoy Kirill Dmitriev stated regarding a separate negotiation channel conducted between Russian and American officials that the discussions were "continuing in a constructive manner."
Similar statements from both sides have created a cautiously optimistic atmosphere in the international community regarding the end of the war.
