Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that important decisions regarding the end of the Russia-Ukraine War are linked to allies before the New Year.
Zelensky emphasized the active efforts being made to end the war in a message shared via Telegram before his meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump. He stated that this year's most intense diplomatic days are being experienced, saying:
"Many decisions can be made before the New Year. We are doing our best for this. However, the adoption of these decisions depends on our allies."
Zelensky pointed out that the Russian army continues its aerial attacks on his country, highlighting Russia's assaults on civil and energy infrastructures. He reported that over 2,100 drones (UAVs), approximately 800 guided bombs, and 94 missiles were launched at Ukraine in the past week.
Zelensky is expected to meet with Trump in the U.S. in the coming hours. This meeting is anticipated to bring a new dimension to the relations between the two countries and the understanding of alliance.
