


Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum announced that this week, lottery draws will be held in 7 provinces to designate new entitlement holders within the scope of the Century's Housing Project. The project, carried out by the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ), aims to meet the housing needs across Turkey with significant momentum.
The lottery process, which started in 2023, has seen the first two weeks pass. This process, which began on December 29, has been completed in 16 provinces, starting with the lottery ceremony held in Tunceli. In total, the rights holders for 54,307 social housing units were determined in Adıyaman, Şırnak, Hakkari, Siirt, Van, Mardin, Ağrı, Batman, Iğdır, Bitlis, Kars, Muş, Ardahan, Antalya, Bingöl, and Tunceli under the supervision of a notary.
Minister Kurum announced the lottery schedule for the dates between January 12-18 on social media. During these dates:
By the end of this week, a total of 21,049 social housing units will have their entitlement holders determined, and it is anticipated that construction on housing projects will begin swiftly. Minister Kurum is also expected to attend the lottery ceremony in Malatya on January 17.
Minister Kurum stated that the Century's Housing Project has a budget of 1.5 trillion dollars and emphasized that this project will invigorate nearly 300 sectors, increase employment, and support overall economic development. This project, launched under the motto 'Homeowner Turkey', will benefit 86 million citizens.
