


Local investors' equity assets reached 4 trillion 762 billion lira in 2025, marking a 32.1% increase compared to the previous year. This growth was determined by the 2025 "Financial Market Summary Data" published by the Turkey Capital Markets Association (TSPB), Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), and the Central Registration Agency (MKK).
Local investor equity assets, which were 3 trillion 606 billion lira in 2024, showed an increase despite an annual inflation rate of 30.9% in 2025.
Additionally, foreign investors' equity assets increased by 28.6% during the same period, reaching 2 trillion 710 billion lira. The total equity portfolio value in Turkey was calculated to be 7 trillion 471 billion lira, with 36.3% belonging to foreign investors and 63.7% to local investors.
In 2025, local investors' total financial assets rose by 48% to 44 trillion 215 billion lira. Particularly, private eurobond assets exceeded 1 trillion 844 billion lira with a 92% increase.
The number of investors in investment funds has increased to 5 million 669 thousand. By the end of 2024, the total number of investors with balances in the Borsa Istanbul equity market had decreased to 6 million 503 thousand.
