Borsa İstanbul announced that it has prohibited margin trading on a particular stock in order to prevent volatility in financial markets. This measure is being implemented in accordance with the decision taken by the Capital Markets Board (CMB).
Margin Trading Ban on Yayla Energy Production Shares
In a statement made by Borsa İstanbul on the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was stated that the margin trading ban on Yayla Energy Production Tourism and Construction Trade Inc. (YAYLA.E) shares would be effective starting from October 8, 2025. It was indicated that this ban would last until November 7, 2025.
Volatility-Based Precautionary System (VBTS)
The statement noted, "According to the decision of the Capital Markets Board, within the framework of the Volatility-Based Precautionary System (VBTS), YAYLA.E shares will not be subject to short selling and margin trading from the transactions on 08/10/2025 (starting from the beginning of the session) until the transactions on 07/11/2025 (until the end of the session)."
