


Yapı Kredi Leasing has secured a total financing of 60 million euros through the EFSE and GGF funds, advised by Finance in Motion. This amount has been recorded as the highest loan amount obtained from the funds managed by Finance in Motion within a year. The loan is made available for a total of 5 years with a 2-year payment-free period.
Yapı Kredi Leasing will direct this resource obtained from international markets towards the growth and transformation investments of SMEs. Moreover, it will also provide financing for projects that help businesses reduce their energy costs and minimize their environmental impacts.
Yapı Kredi Leasing General Manager Fatih Torun made significant remarks regarding the new resources: “This resource is strategically important in supporting the growth journeys of our SMEs and making concrete contributions to the green transformation process of our country. While promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy investments, we strengthen our collaborations with international development-oriented funds. Our goal is not only to provide financing but also to be a real companion to our clients.”
GGF Fund Management Board Chairman Simon Gupta stated that this strategic partnership is an important step in supporting the sustainable economic transformation in Turkey. “With sustainability-focused credit, we aim to enhance the competitiveness of local businesses and accelerate Turkey’s transition to a low-carbon economy.”
EFSE Fund Director Jasminka Begert emphasized that their partnership lasting over 10 years has reinforced their commitment to SMEs. This financing and technical support projects will assist local SMEs in modernizing and achieving sustainable growth.
