The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has published weekly security statistics, revealing the influence of foreign investors on the stock market. In the week ending January 9, foreign investors made a total stock purchase worth 237.6 million dollars, while they invested 864.8 million dollars in bonds.
Foreign investors' purchase transactions have shown a significant increase compared to the previous week. In the prior week, only 102.3 million dollars worth of stocks and 288.5 million dollars in bonds were purchased. These figures indicate an increase in foreign investors' confidence in the Turkish stock market.
The growing interest of foreign investors is enhancing the overall dynamism and investor confidence in the markets. Additionally, there are investment instruments that provide new opportunities and greater portfolio diversification, allowing investors to improve their performance.
The increase in foreign investors' stock and bond purchases seems likely to positively affect market dynamics. These developments signal signs of economic and financial stability in Turkey, thus presenting important opportunities for investors.
