Foreign investors have made an impressive start to 2024. According to data from the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT), foreign investors executed net equity purchases worth 102.3 million dollars in the week of January 2.

A Strong January for Foreign Investments

With this purchase, foreign investors conducted a total equity purchase of approximately 922 million dollars between the beginnings of December and January. This situation is considered a positive sign for domestic investors.

Bond Market Performance

Notable developments have also occurred in the bond market. Last week, foreign investors, who sold bonds worth 131 million dollars, directed approximately 248 million dollars towards bond purchases in the week of January 2. This situation highlights the interest of foreigners in the Turkish bond market.
