Workday is Establishing a Developer Network for AI Skills

Barcelona, Spain, November 19, 2025 - Workday, Inc. (NASDAQ: WDAY), an innovative artificial intelligence platform for human resources and financial management, announced a new developer network worldwide. This network aims to equip people around the world with new skills by providing access to Workday's AI tools and training. Additionally, Google Cloud will join Workday Data Cloud, offering customers secure and seamless access.

Workday's Chief Products and Technology Officer Gerrit Kazmaier stated, "With our global developer network and the inclusion of Google BigQuery in Workday Data Cloud, we are significantly expanding our customers' capabilities." Ensuring that everyone has access to Workday's reliable data, tools, and AI will accelerate organic growth and real business outcomes.

The new developments aim to enhance employee training and establish collaborations with various universities around the world to train the next generation of AI developers. In line with this goal, Workday will offer educational pathways and certifications in collaboration with universities such as Chennai Institute of Technology and KL University, as well as employment partners like Consultnet, Helios Consulting, and Randstad Digital.

Those who complete the new developer program will earn a Workday Pro Developer Certification and will be featured in the Workday Talent Directory, connecting them with customers and partners looking to leverage their skills in proactive projects.

Workday also announced the addition of BigQuery to Workday Data Cloud. This will provide customers with direct access to Workday human resources and financial data via Google Cloud, making it easier to develop predictive models without complex integrations.

Finally, Workday's plan to acquire Pipedream strengthens the company’s commitment to an open ecosystem. This will allow customers to securely connect Workday's reliable data with various external systems such as Asana, Hubspot, Jira, Recurly, and Slack, modernizing their business processes.
