Vakıf Katılım's International Financing Initiative

Vakıf Katılım has taken a significant step toward foreign financing by successfully issuing 500 million dollars worth of additional tier 1 capital (AT1) sukuk.

Historic Issuance

This issuance has been recorded as the highest amount of capital-like sukuk among participation banks in Turkey. Investors from various regions around the world, primarily the Gulf Region, the United Kingdom, and Continental Europe, showed intense interest.

High Demand

A total demand of 1.8 billion dollars was recorded for Vakıf Katılım, further reinforcing the confidence of international investors.

Global Coordination

This transaction, completed at the lowest cost among capital-like sukuk issuances, was coordinated globally by HSBC, Emirates NBD, and Standard Chartered Bank.
