Daily Report
GUHEM has taken an important step for future space studies by providing space education to over 70,000 students.

Operating under the leadership of the Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BTSO), GUHEM has attracted attention this year with the World Space Week events, for which it has taken on the role of Turkey's National Coordinator. The online program themed “When Will We Live on Mars?” brought together a total of 579 schools and more than 70,000 students from all 81 provinces of Turkey on a single platform. This comprehensive event aims to increase young people's interest in space science and deepen their knowledge in this field.

Established in Bursa, GUHEM plays an active role as a prominent center in Turkey's space and aviation ecosystem, shaping the future through pioneering projects and educational programs. Successfully continuing its role as Turkey's National Coordinator of World Space Week since 2023, GUHEM aims to inspire young people and raise awareness of space studies within society with this year's events.

As the importance of space studies continues to grow, the trainings provided by centers like GUHEM offer students a chance to get a step ahead in their future careers. Throughout the event, various contents were presented to participants to inform them about space research, the exploration of Mars, and life in space. Through such programs, students had the opportunity to reinforce their existing knowledge by interacting directly with scientists, while also boosting their passion for space science.

The events organized by GUHEM not only allow young people to discover their talents in fields such as space journalism, astrophysics, and engineering, but also help them better understand the mysteries of space. As the importance of space technologies and explorations becomes increasingly visible, such educational organizations significantly contribute to the nurturing of the brains that will guide the future. The future astronauts, engineers, and scientists are equipped with knowledge gained here while also learning to act with social responsibility awareness.

These events are an important step not just for the participating students but also for the development of Turkey in the field of space. Thanks to the opportunities provided by GUHEM, young people not only enhance their interest in space science but also have the chance to learn more about career opportunities in this field. Space education stands out as a key factor that will contribute to the development of future leaders in science and technology.
