$3.9 million security vulnerability in Unleash Protocol

Unleash Protocol, according to blockchain security firm PeckShield, lost approximately 3.9 million dollars. The incident occurred as a result of a security breach on the platform. The main reason for the breach is cited as a failure in Unleash management.

This situation allowed the attacker unauthorized control and asset withdrawal. After transferring the stolen assets through the Ethereum network, the attacker used Tornado Cash to conceal the transaction history. Thus, the transactions became less visible.
