3.9 million dollar security flaw in Unleash Protocol

Unleash Protocol, according to blockchain security firm PeckShield, lost approximately 3.9 million dollars. The incident occurred due to a security breach on the platform. The root cause of the breach is attributed to a failure in Unleash's management.

This situation provided the attacker with unauthorized control and the ability to withdraw assets. After transferring the stolen assets via the Ethereum network, the attacker used Tornado Cash to obscure the transaction history. Thus, the executed transactions became less visible.
