The President of the Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (TÜSİAD), Orhan Turan, emphasized that maintaining inflation at low levels is the most important determinant of macroeconomic stability. Turan stated, "Reducing inflation to a sustainable single-digit level is our top priority."

Speaking at the 17th Competition Congress organized by the Sectoral Associations Federation (SEDEFED), Turan highlighted that achieving macroeconomic stability is essential for lasting economic success.

Challenges Faced by Industrialists

Turan noted, “In the last two years, industrialists have felt the costs of fighting inflation due to high financing costs and slowing demand. Reducing inflation from %75 to %30 is an achievement, but we still have a challenging road ahead.” He acknowledged that the fight against inflation can be achieved through the right monetary policy and stressed the necessity of structural reforms.
