Türk Telekom Established Two New Companies in TRNC

Turk Telekomünikasyon AŞ and TTNET AŞ have taken an important step in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and established two separate companies. This new structuring is considered as part of Türk Telekom's strategy to expand its presence in the region.

In a statement released on the Public Disclosure Platform, the company first announced the establishment of Turk Telekom Kıbrıs Toptan Hizmetler Şirketi Limited. In this company, Turk Telekomünikasyon AŞ will have a 99.99% shareholding and TTNET AŞ will have a 0.01% shareholding. This indicates that Türk Telekom will play a more active role in the wholesale services market in the TRNC.

The second announced development is the establishment of Turk Telekom Cyprus Retail Company Limited, which was established within the framework of the announcement made on July 10. In this company, Turk Telekomünikasyon AŞ holds a 0.01% stake and TTTNET AŞ a 99.99% stake. The existence of these two separate companies demonstrates Türk Telekom's goal of increasing its competitiveness not only in wholesale but also in retail.

With the expansion of Türk Telekom's services in the TRNC, customer satisfaction in the region is also expected to increase. This step, taken to provide solutions to meet the needs of the local market, is also part of Türk Telekom's international growth strategy.
