Poverty Line and Family Budget

The monthly food expenditure for a family of four, also known as the poverty line, has been determined to be 30,143 TL. This figure highlights the financial difficulties faced by working families.

Poverty Line and Essential Expenditures

The poverty line includes not only food expenses but also mandatory monthly expenses such as clothing, housing (rent, electricity, water, fuel), transportation, education, and health. According to calculations made within this scope, the total amount required for essential needs has been estimated at 98,188 TL.
