The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has updated the inspection process for rental housing for tourism purposes. With the new regulations, the processes are becoming more systematic.

Recent increases in tourism demands and housing rental activities have made it necessary to strengthen management and supervision processes. In this regard, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism has prepared and enacted a new regulation that offers significant changes for the rental of houses for tourism purposes.

With this update on the rental of houses for tourism purposes, the inspection mechanisms applied for specific periods have been made more effective. According to the new regulation, houses can be rented for a maximum of 100 days, and they cannot be rented again for 100 days after this period ends. This situation aims to ensure that rentals are monitored in a regular manner.

Additionally, irregularities and penalties in the inspection process have been reshaped. While the inspection authorities of relevant institutions have been strengthened, the responsibilities of property owners have also been clearly defined. In this context, necessary documents must be prepared accurately and must undergo the inspection process.

The Ministry has announced that it will carry out information and training activities to ensure that property owners can protect their rights while also fulfilling their obligations within the framework of this regulation. This aims to provide the sector with a more transparent and orderly structure.

With the increasing popularity of tourism-related housing rentals, these new applications aim to both prevent illegal rentals and improve service quality. For investors and property owners, these regulations are emphasized as an opportunity to keep up with developments in the tourism sector.

In conclusion, the processes of renting houses for tourism purposes are becoming more systematic at both local and international levels with these new regulations. It is of great importance for stakeholders in the sector to take necessary steps to develop a sustainable tourism model by acting within the established rules.
