Striking Artificial Intelligence Statistics from TÜİK Were Announced!

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has published its "Appropriate Artificial Intelligence Statistics 2025" bulletin for the first time, revealing the impact of artificial intelligence across the country. This report strikingly presented the transformation in the technology world, as well as the artificial intelligence usage rates of enterprises and individuals.

The rate of enterprises using artificial intelligence, which was only 2.7 percent in 2021, could rise to 7.5 percent in 2025. This increase indicates that Turkey's digital transformation process is accelerating and businesses are investing in technology to enhance their competitiveness.

In the same report, artificial intelligence usage rates were also analyzed in detail according to the number of employees in firms. While it was stated that 24.1 percent of businesses with 250 or more employees use artificial intelligence technologies, this rate was determined to be 9.6 percent in firms employing 50-249 people. In smaller scale businesses, artificial intelligence usage reached 6.6 percent in firms with 10-49 employees.

Artificial intelligence provides significant advantages, especially for large-scale businesses, in terms of product development, customer services, and data analysis. In addition, access to artificial intelligence technologies is becoming easier for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This creates new opportunities for businesses to increase their productivity and offer better services.

These data show that Turkey's artificial intelligence ecosystem is taking an important step in its development process. This situation revealed by the statistics means that future artificial intelligence investments and training programs will gain even more importance. Entrepreneurs and the business world will need to adapt to this change and develop a strategy integrated with technology.
