U.S. President Donald Trump delivered strong messages regarding the current situation in Venezuela and President Nicolas Maduro. Speaking on CBS's 60 Minutes, Trump stated that Maduro's rule is nearing its end.

Is Maduro's Future Short?

In response to a question about Maduro's future, Trump answered "Yes, I can say that", indicating the possibility of a change in government in Venezuela. Additionally, he addressed the likelihood of the U.S. going to war with Venezuela, stating "I doubt it, I don't think so. However, they treat us poorly." Trump emphasized that the influx of people from Venezuela goes beyond drugs and took this situation into account.

Possibility of Military Intervention

When asked whether a military attack on Venezuela would take place, Trump replied, "I'm not inclined to tell you whether that's true or not." Nonetheless, the opposition and public's reaction to Maduro may lead the U.S. to reconsider its position on the matter.

Statements on the Middle East and Hamas

Trump also made assessments regarding the Middle East. Describing the ceasefire situation in Gaza as "fragile", he stated that Hamas could be disarmed "immediately." "If I wanted to disarm them, I could do it immediately; otherwise, they will be eliminated," he emphasized, asserting his authority over Hamas.

Relations with Netanyahu and Iran's Nuclear Capacity

Evaluating his relationship with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump expressed that he pushed Netanyahu on issues regarding the ceasefire in Gaza and the recognition of a Palestinian state. "I worked very well with him, but there are some things I can't say I like," he said. He also claimed that Iran's nuclear capacity has been eliminated and that the Tehran administration no longer has "any nuclear capacity."
