The Reagan Foundation emphasized that the former president's audio and video recordings were used without permission and expressed plans to take legal action regarding the matter.

Reason for the Increase in Tariffs

Trump emphasized that Reagan supported tariffs for national security and economic reasons and stated that Canada misrepresented this situation. "The purpose of this fraud was to seek relief from tariffs that have harmed the U.S. for years before the U.S. Supreme Court," said Trump, continuing: "The U.S. must now defend itself against Canada's high customs duties."

Advertisement and Trade Talks

Trump asserted that the advertisement should be immediately removed, saying, "As a result of the deliberate distortion of the facts, I am increasing the tariff on Canada by 10%." He also announced that he has suspended all trade talks with Canada due to the same advertisement on October 23.
