Tharimmune raised 540 million dollars, new investment strategy.

The biotechnology company Tharimmune (THAR) has made a remarkable move by securing $540 million in funding recently. This development, which has particularly attracted the interest of investors, aligns with the company's digital asset treasury strategy. Tharimmune plans to use this fund for investment in Canton Coin and network development activities.

In an official announcement made on Monday, it was stated that Tharimmune, which trades on Nasdaq, raised the $540 million through a private sale round, which will be used for token acquisition on the Canton Network, validator node installation, and application development. Additionally, the company indicated that it would continue its traditional biotechnology operations.

Notable names participating in this funding round include leading investors such as DRW, Liberty City Ventures, ARK Invest, Broadridge, Kraken, and Polychain Capital. Furthermore, the Canton Foundation is strengthening its position in the sector by investing in a publicly traded company for the first time. According to Bloomberg's report, several investors will make their contributions directly in Canton Coin. This token, which is not yet traded on exchanges, is coming to the forefront as the primary currency of the privacy-focused Canton Network, which connects regulatory compliant institutions.

The Canton Network, a new network for inter-institutional tokenization, is being used as tokenization and settlement infrastructure by major institutions such as Goldman Sachs, BNP Paribas, and DTCC. Earlier this year, Tharimmune announced that it successfully completed a $135 million funding round backed by Goldman Sachs, focusing on expanding its corporate use cases.

Following the news, Tharimmune shares surged by more than 120%, rising to $6.70. However, the price subsequently retraced somewhat, and by the end of the day, it was trading at around $3.39, reflecting an approximately 15% increase. This volatility presents an important indicator for investors.

Investors will need to pay particular attention to the funding process undertaken by Tharimmune and the Canton Coin in the agenda, as it will be crucial for capturing future opportunities.
