Decline in TCMB Reserves Continues

The decrease in the reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) continued in the week of October 31. According to the data, gross reserves have dropped from 185.5 billion dollars to 183.6 billion dollars.

Increase in Net Reserves

On the other hand, as of the same week, TCMB's net reserves increased from 67.8 billion dollars to 69.3 billion dollars. This situation may present a better outlook in the markets.

Increase in Net Reserves Excluding Swaps

An important recovery has also been observed in net reserves excluding swap transactions. According to the data, net reserves excluding swaps rose from 52.1 billion dollars to 52.7 billion dollars. This situation is seen as a positive sign regarding Turkey's foreign currency liquidity.
