The decline in the reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) continued during the week of October 31. According to the data, gross reserves decreased from 185.5 billion dollars to 183.6 billion dollars.
On the other hand, as of the same week, TCMB's net reserves increased from 67.8 billion dollars to 69.3 billion dollars. This situation may present a better outlook in the markets.
There was also a significant recovery in net reserves excluding swap transactions. According to the data, net reserves excluding swaps rose from 52.1 billion dollars to 52.7 billion dollars. This situation is being evaluated as a positive sign for Turkey's foreign currency liquidity.
