


The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) has experienced a significant decrease in its gross reserves after reaching a historical peak.
Official reserve assets fell by %6.5 last week, reducing to 185.5 billion dollars. The previous week, gross reserves were recorded at 198.4 billion dollars.
The net reserves excluding swaps of the CBRT were determined to be 52.1 billion dollars.
Foreign currency assets decreased by %8.1 compared to the previous week, dropping to 73.1 billion dollars, while gold-denominated reserve assets fell by %5.8 to 104.7 billion dollars. Additionally, the total IMF reserve position and SDR decreased by %0.3, reaching 7.7 billion dollars.
