PALO ALTO, California & LONDON, November 19, 2025 – SymphonyAI will participate in the United Kingdom Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) new Supercharged Sandbox program. This initiative allows firms to develop and test advanced Artificial Intelligence technologies using NVIDIA accelerated computing in a regulated environment.
SymphonyAI Financial Services was selected based on assessments of innovation potential, technical feasibility, and regulatory impact. The program will take place from September 2025 to January 2026 and will provide a structured environment for safely experimenting with next-generation artificial intelligence use cases.
During this process, SymphonyAI will develop a concept for an artificial intelligence agent supported by small language models and reinforcement learning. If successful, these innovations will be integrated into SymphonyAI's smart financial services agenda, helping financial institutions accelerate risk detection, improve compliance processes, and reduce research timelines.
SymphonyAI Head of Product, Strategy, and Innovation Jason Shane stated, “SymphonyAI is a pioneer of AI innovation in regulated sectors. Our participation in the FCA sandbox program strengthens our leadership in financial services and our commitment to developing responsible, explainable innovation. By integrating these next-generation learnings directly into our artificial intelligence agents, we are providing our customers with the fastest and safest access to cutting-edge artificial intelligence capabilities.”
SymphonyAI aims to develop new Artificial Intelligence innovations that will benefit the financial crime risk and compliance community through its participation; accelerate the integration of next-generation artificial intelligence agent capabilities; and collaborate with FCA and industry partners to create trustworthy and explainable Artificial Intelligence innovations.
The 12-week program will conclude with showcase days taking place in London on January 28-29, 2026. During these days, participants will present their innovations to regulators, financial institutions, academia, consulting firms, and government representatives.
