Eric Laforge, who has 39 years of experience in the automotive sector, has been appointed to an important position at Stellantis. Laforge will take over the role from Anne Abboud, who will depart from the company in January 2026.
Laforge will lead the consolidation and development of Stellantis' Pro One Commercial Vehicles business unit. This business unit includes the brands Citroen, Fiat Professional, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, and Vauxhall.
A graduate of Ecole Superieure de Gestion et Finance (ESGF) in Paris, Laforge's automotive career began in 1990 with Fiat. After holding sales positions in France and Italy, he worked at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) in the role of %CEO% and other significant positions.
The Chief Executive Officer of Stellantis' Expanded Europe Operations, Emanuele Cappellano, noted that Laforge's experience is expected to strengthen their global position in the commercial vehicles segment. He also expressed gratitude towards Abboud.
Laforge stated that he is very excited to rejoin Stellantis, emphasizing that despite the complexities of the current market, the company will leverage its expertise to seize growth opportunities.
