Sabancı Holding (code: SAHOL) has decided to increase its registered capital ceiling in line with its growth targets. In the vote held during the board of directors meeting on January 5, 2026, the company made a significant decision to raise the registered capital ceiling from 3 billion TL to 10 billion TL.
With this strategic decision, Sabancı Holding aims to strengthen its capital structure by increasing the registered capital ceiling by approximately 233.3%. The validity period of the new ceiling has been set for five years, covering the dates 2026-2030. This increase will enable the Holding to make more investments and implement its growth strategies effectively, thereby enhancing its competitive power in the market.
In order for the increased capital ceiling to come into effect, it is necessary to amend the 10th article titled "Capital" of the company’s Articles of Association. It was announced that applications would be made to the Capital Markets Board (CMB) and the Ministry of Commerce to obtain the necessary approvals. After obtaining the permits, the proposed amendment to the articles of association will be submitted for approval by shareholders at the first general meeting to be held.
This capital increase will facilitate Sabancı Holding in obtaining the financing needed for new investments and projects by increasing its market effectiveness. On the other hand, this decision is closely monitored by investors, as the rising capital will directly impact the company's investment and expansion potential.
