


Poland, after inflation decreased to its lowest level since mid-2024, the National Bank of Poland (NBP) lowered the policy interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.25%.
This reduction marks the fifth interest rate cut by the NBP throughout 2023. Thus, it has been noted that the bank has cut rates by a total of 150 basis points.
Among the 31 economists participating in a Bloomberg survey, 24 expressed expectations for an interest rate cut, while the remaining 7 economists predicted that the rate would remain unchanged.
