At an event held in Riyadh, OpenAI's Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar announced that this week's agreement with Microsoft allows the company to conduct its capital-raising processes in a less complex manner.

Friar also stated that OpenAI's intention to collaborate with governments around the world could strengthen the United States' soft power policy.
