NVIDIA's Third Quarter Revenues Make History

NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) reported $57.0 billion in revenue for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2025, ending October 26, 2025. This represents a 22% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 62% increase year-over-year.

Data center revenues also reached a record high at $51.2 billion. This figure means a 25% increase compared to the previous quarter and a 66% increase year-over-year.

The gross profit margins for the third quarter were 73.4% for GAAP and 73.6% for non-GAAP. The total net income was determined to be $31.9 billion. In the same quarter, the diluted earnings per share were $1.30.

Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, commented, "Blackwell sales have gained unexpected momentum, and cloud GPUs are running low. Computational demand is rapidly increasing, and the AI ecosystem is expanding quickly across every sector."

In the first nine months of the fiscal year 2026, NVIDIA returned $37.0 billion to shareholders. The company currently has $62.2 billion available under its share buyback authorization.

The company plans to pay a cash dividend of $0.01 per share on December 26, 2025. Shareholders of record will be determined as of December 4, 2025.

Third Quarter Performance Summary

According to NVIDIA's third quarter report, GAAP revenues were recorded at $57,006 million. In addition to the revenue increases we observed, gross profit rose by 73.4% and net income increased by 21%.

For the upcoming fourth quarter, NVIDIA forecasts revenues of $65.0 billion. The GAAP gross profit margin is expected to be 74.8%, while the non-GAAP gross profit margin is expected to be 75.0%.

Other highlights include $4.3 billion in revenue generated from the Gaming and AI PC segment and $592 million recorded in the Automotive sector.
