Expected Statements from Nvidia CEO

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang will attract investors' attention with his keynote speech scheduled for this Tuesday in Washington, D.C. Investors are expecting clarity on which chips Nvidia, the leader in artificial intelligence, can sell in the vast Chinese market.

Huang's speech will take place at 12:00 PM Eastern Time (4:00 PM GMT). This week, President Donald Trump is expected to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday, following his tour of Asia. The flow of advanced technology between the two countries is a central issue in trade discussions, and access to Nvidia's chips is seen as a key topic in this context.

Huang will be speaking at the GTC event held in Washington, D.C. for the first time, indicating Nvidia's intention to collaborate with the government and contractors around the capital. Nvidia outlined its chip roadmap for the upcoming year at the recent GTC event in California last March.

Both during the first term of the Trump administration and under President Joe Biden, restrictions were imposed on the sale of Nvidia's most advanced chips to China. However, Trump's second administration has shown a more open approach regarding Nvidia's ability to send chips there. Huang argues that Nvidia needs to capitalize on a potential $50 billion in sales to remain competitive. Previous reports indicate that despite Beijing's pressure on Huawei Technologies Co. to purchase local chips, Chinese developers still desire Nvidia's chips.

Last month, Nvidia announced a partnership with Intel, which, according to analysts, could facilitate Intel's entry into markets dominated by its central processing units (CPUs).

UBS analyst Tim Arcuri noted in a report to investors, "Following this investment in Intel, we expect to see a surge in the data processing market - a significant portion of which is currently being conducted on CPUs." He added, "We anticipate that this will increasingly become an important theme with Nvidia."
