Synergy Quantum (SQ) has taken a significant step in the global quantum technology field by announcing the addition of Nishant Batra as a Company Partner and Strategic Advisor. Batra previously served as the Chief of Strategy and Technology Solutions at Nokia and will contribute to SQ's mission to build the world's most secure quantum networks in this new role.
Nishant Batra, a respected name in telecom and network strategy, will assist Synergy Quantum in establishing the critical layer that connects its quantum computing systems to government, businesses, and critical infrastructure. The Midstream layer, which is crucial for the development of high-security quantum networks, is Synergy Quantum's area of expertise.
This layer is where secure quantum networks and sovereign integration take place. Synergy Quantum's Quantum Secure Network (QSN) platform integrates Quantum Cryptographic Bill of Materials (QCBOM), Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), Quantum Key Distribution (QKD), and satellite and drone-based secure connections. This structure is essential for nations to protect their data, intelligence, and digital sovereignty.
Collaborations with C-DoT (Telecommunications Development Centre), CERT-In (Computer Emergency Response Team of India), and leading telecom providers worldwide position Synergy Quantum as a strategic player in supporting national resilience in the quantum age.
From financial services to public defense systems, telecom, healthcare, and energy grids, Synergy Quantum's technology guarantees a secure and sovereign infrastructure in the upcoming quantum revolution.
Jay Oberai, Founder Partner and CEO of Synergy Quantum, stated, “Every country must now build its own Sovereign Intelligence and Quantum Secure Communication Network. We are building that infrastructure; we are creating a bridge between the quantum computing layer and the national user base. With Nishant’s vision and experience, we are accelerating this mission globally.”
Nishant Batra decided to join Synergy Quantum after leaving his position at Nokia to focus on new frontiers in network transformation. His belief that quantum technologies will redefine how nations communicate, defend, and compete supports this decision. “Synergy Quantum is uniquely positioned to build secure networks that will connect AI and quantum computing to the real world. I am proud to be part of this team,” says Batra.
Batra played a significant role in defining the 6G strategy, AI-driven network architecture, and global partnerships at Nokia. His extensive experience provides unique insights into how large-scale networks are built, commercialized, and secured.
Synergy Quantum, with Mr. Batra’s involvement, will guide corporate and technology strategies, determine product and roadmap decisions, and continue its leadership in developing secure quantum networks. This appointment will reinforce Synergy Quantum's growth in the cryptography sector and position it as a global integrator of quantum and AI technologies.
