An Important Period at Network Media Group

Network Media Group Inc. (TSXV: NTE) (OTC: NETWF) announced today that Ali Pejman has immediately stepped down from his role as Chairman of the Board.

Pejman joined Network's Board of Directors in October 2019, providing leadership during the significant uncertainties in the entertainment industry caused by the global pandemic and subsequent workforce disruptions. He has contributed to successfully steering Network through this challenging period.

Pejman played a crucial role in the development and expansion of the organization’s intellectual property, being instrumental in the approval of numerous documentaries and documentary series. He served as a Producer on two of Network's most acclaimed projects: Sly Lives! (The Burden of Black Genius), which premiered at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival and was released on Hulu in partnership with Disney's Onyx Collective. The other project, Sidney, was produced in collaboration with Oprah Winfrey and directed by Reginald Hudlin for Apple TV+. This production was showcased at TIFF 2022 and was awarded Best Documentary by the African American Film Critics Association.

Pejman also played a guiding role in Network's acclaimed I Am film series, which features documentaries about icons such as Raquel Welch, Steve McQueen, Luke Perry, Joe Frazier, Burt Reynolds, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and Alfred Hitchcock.
