Furniture exports increased by 4 percent in September.

The Mediterranean Furniture, Paper, and Forest Products Exporters Association (AKAMİB) has increased its exports by 2.5% as of September, reaching 87 million 344 thousand dollars. At the same time, the export amount recorded in the January-September period has been 718 million 400 thousand dollars, showing a 10.2% increase. This successful performance indicates that AKAMİB has achieved growth above the industry average.

AKAMİB President Onur Kılıçer stated that these results are a sign that producers continue to export despite all challenges. Kılıçer said, “This picture is the best example of our resilience and competitive strength. However, it is critical to accelerate our transformation processes to achieve sustainable success.”

The positive developments in the furniture sector indicate a significant increase in neighboring markets as well. It is emphasized that furniture exporters need to develop innovative strategies and focus on product quality to maintain a more competitive position in international markets.
