Metaplanet is starting an ADR program for American investors.

Metaplanet Targets U.S. Investors

Metaplanet is aiming to attract U.S. investors by launching its supported Level 1 American Depositary Receipts (ADR) program. The new ADRs will trade online under the MPJPY symbol starting December 19.

This program will offer investors the opportunity to transact in U.S. dollars, increased liquidity, and a standardized U.S. market infrastructure. Additionally, this process will not require any new capital raising.

Meanwhile, Metaplanet shares rose 6% in Tokyo trading, reaching 443 yen (approximately $2.80) level.
