LSEG and Anthropic: Easy Access to Financial Data

London, United Kingdom / Access Newswire / October 27, 2025 / LSEG has announced its collaboration with Anthropic, providing Claude customers with access to licensed data through LSEG products. This access will be facilitated through the Extended Financial Services presentation for Claude introduced today.

This development is a significant milestone within LSEG's artificial intelligence strategy, LSEG Everywhere. LSEG aims to scale AI by offering reliable licensed data for financial services leveraging the data sets accumulated over the years.

LSEG Everywhere includes the adoption of MCP (Model Context Protocol) and encompasses new partnerships with enterprise-level AI applications and data platforms such as Microsoft, Rogo, Snowflake, and Databricks.

LSEG enables customers to automate their financial analyses by providing access to licensed data through products like Workspace and Financial Analytics. LSEG's AI-ready content will be accessible through MCP via a phased rollout.

Following this initial release, more licensed AI-ready content will be offered to Claude users; initial capabilities will be available later this month, with additional data categories to follow thereafter.

LSEG establishes a secure, scalable AI standard while enabling workflows in financial services through open, LLM-independent, and infrastructure-focused partnerships. This approach helps customers reduce costs, minimize custom engineering needs, and accelerate deployment timelines.

Through this collaboration, LSEG and Anthropic are also integrating their mutual potential lead generation processes. Financial Services customers for Claude can enhance their existing data with licenses for LSEG's pioneering solution Workspace. LSEG is collaborating with Workspace customers to secure licensed enterprise access.
