Huobi Founder Li Lin Establishes New Ether Foundation

Li Lin, the founder of Huobi exchange and president of the Hong Kong-based Avenir Capital company, has taken steps to create a $1 billion Ethereum (ETH) guarantee. This initiative is being conducted in collaboration with some of the most influential Ethereum investors in Asia.

According to a report by Bloomberg, this group has begun discussions to acquire a company listed on NASDAQ to structure the foundation. The official launch is expected to take place in the coming weeks.

This development indicates an increasing interest from institutional investors in holding Ethereum assets. According to CoinGecko data, public companies currently hold a total of 4.4 million Ethereum, which is estimated to be worth $16.9 billion.
