This successful performance contributed to the centralized exchange volume reaching an all-time high. KuCoin's activities expanded more rapidly than total centralized exchange volumes even during periods of lower market volatility.

The trading volume was evenly distributed between spot and derivative products, with each exceeding the $500 billion mark on a year-over-year basis. This indicates a broad area of application without dependence on a single product line.

Additionally, altcoin trading activities constituted the vast majority, reinforcing KuCoin's role as a primary liquidity center outside of BTC and Ethereum. During this period, the trading volumes of large crypto assets remained more subdued.
