Osman Okyay, Deputy Chairman of Kale Group, stated in an interview with Bloomberg HT that they plan to export jet engines to one more country by the end of the year.
Okyay emphasized their target of producing critical subcomponents for unmanned aerial vehicles and rocket missiles, saying, "We started this journey with jet engines. We have specifically developed turbojet class engines used in missiles," he said.
Highlighting new collaborations in the current period, Okyay noted that the engines they produce are predominantly used in cruise missiles. "In this field, you can only export to countries that have reached certain levels of development. Brazil was the first of these countries, and we are in discussions with other countries as well. We are in communication with a total of 10-12 countries. We will export a jet engine to one more country by the end of the year; it may even be possible to do so to more than one," he stated.
