JPMorgan has announced its top stock recommendations for the year 2026. As one of Wall Street's leading banks, JPMorgan signals that the impact of artificial intelligence technologies on the markets will continue to grow. The bank forecasts that the S&P 500 index will reach 7,500 points next year and has provided a series of strategic recommendations for investors.
JPMorgan recommends that institutional investors focus on companies with strong balance sheets. It notes that firms exposed to data center expansions and infrastructure investments present attractive opportunities. The bank's report emphasizes that the "Magnificent Seven" stock, which performed best in 2025, will also attract investors' attention in 2026.
JPMorgan states that Alphabet's GAAP earnings per share for fiscal 2027 are trading at a high level, but some pullbacks in valuation may occur. However, it is indicated that Alphabet's leadership in artificial intelligence and the multi-expansion of its applications suggests a high long-term potential for success.
The bank's favorite in the property and casualty insurance sector, Allstate shares, have increased by more than 6% in 2025 but have underperformed the S&P 500. However, the target price of $260 set by JPMorgan indicates a potential for Allstate to gain more than 25% in value. Analysts believe that strong auto and home margins, along with growth in existing policies, will positively impact Allstate.
JPMorgan points out that the packaging sector also offers interesting opportunities for investors, highlighting the collaboration between Avery Dennison, a label and materials manufacturer, and Walmart. This partnership could contribute to the future expansion of Avery's RFID business. For Avery Dennison, which lost 2% in value in 2025, JPMorgan's target price of $195 is approximately 7% above the current trading price.
