The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Council held the third session of its December meetings under the chairmanship of Gökhan Gümüşdağ, the 2nd Vice President of the Council. During the meeting, a proposal for a 62.5% increase in parking fees operated by İSPARK was put on the table.

New Price Table

The proposed increases will be implemented within the framework of the Sustainable Urban Transportation Plan, and different tariffs have been established for various regions:

  • In the Fatih-Historical Peninsula and Kadıköy-Dock areas, the parking fee for 1 hour will rise from 150 TL to 200 TL, and the fee for 1-2 hours will increase from 180 TL to 240 TL.
  • In closed parking lots (Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, Fatih, Kadıköy, Şişli, Üsküdar), the fee for 1 hour will rise from 100 TL to 140 TL.
  • Additionally, in on-street parking, the fee for 1-2 hours will increase from 200 TL to 300 TL.

Increase in Transportation Fees

Besides parking fees, increases in entry fees for forests and recreation areas were also discussed. Accordingly, the entry fee for cars is proposed to rise from 170 TL to 250 TL, and for buses from 1500 TL to 2000 TL.

The new price tariff of İSPARK will come into effect as of January 1, 2026. It is noteworthy that the last increase made to İSPARK was 50% on June 12, 2024, and 115% on December 12, 2024.
