


The Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (İBB) Council held the third session of its December meetings under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chairman of the Council, Gökhan Gümüşdağ. During the meeting, a proposal for a 62.5% increase in parking fees operated by İSPARK was brought to the table.
The proposed increases will be implemented within the framework of the Sustainable Urban Transportation Plan, and different rates have been determined in various regions:
In addition to parking fees, there has also been a proposal to increase the entry fees for forest and picnic areas. Accordingly, the car entry fee will be raised from 170 TL to 250 TL, and the bus entry fee will increase from 1500 TL to 2000 TL.
The new pricing schedule of İSPARK will come into effect on January 1, 2026. It is noteworthy that the last increase to İSPARK was a 50% increase on June 12, 2024, and a 115% increase on December 12, 2024.
In the voting results in the Council, the AK Party voted "no" to the proposed increase, while the proposal was accepted with the support of CHP members.
